Oregon Fire Relief Effort at The Cotton Patch

Okay, 2020, knock it off already!

As seems to be the continuing trend this year, our communities here in Oregon are facing yet another challenge as wildfires are burning rampantly statewide.  Hundred of thousands of acres have been consumed - some of which are right in Salem's backyard.  We all know people who are awaiting the call to evacuate, who have already evacuated, and even some till, who have lost their homes.

We want to do our part to help support firefighting and relief efforts, so here's what we are going to do from now until 9/30/20:

1. From now until the end of the month, 5% of all fabric sales will be donated to the local Red Cross. They need supplies for the shelters they have established statewide for fire evacuees.

2. From now until the end of the month, we will be collecting donations (as well as contributing our own) for quilters who have been evacuated and who have lost their sewing supplies to the fire. Donate one unused, unwashed (but clean!) Fat Quarter to this effort and receive a 15% off coupon for your next purchase (one coupon per customer regardless of how many fabric donations provided)

We will revisit needs at the end of the month. Quilters are the most caring, and giving group of people around - let's show our community some love!
